The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board in Central Visayas have decided to suspend the operations of VJ&A for a month, after what happened in Toledo City last Saturday. 15 people died and 65 survived the accident.
The one month suspension will also mean that VJ&A allows a thorough inspection of all the buses owned by them and also the capability and experience of the bus drivers working for that bus firm.
In a span of 20 days, this if the fourth time a major road accident in Cebu occurred. The worst one happened along the Transcentral Highway in Balamban. It killed 20 Iranians and also the Filipino driver.
