Alexander Landera, one of the members of the Danao City Runner Club died after falling from a window in the Mandaue City District Hospital. He died not because of the impact of falling from a hospital window but from the loss of blood from a cut in his left arm.

The said incident was reported to have happened an hour after Landera was brought to the hospital at 11:26 p.m.

When the staff were about to bring him to the emergency room, he suddenly got up and started running to different directions. He ran so fast that the staff weren’t able to catch up to him.

He ran past the emergency room, rammed the glass door of the delivery room which was suspected to be the cause of his cut in the left arm. After that, he went to the adjacent recovery room and climbed on the table of the suction machine and jumped out of the window.
