Religion has always played vital roles in the past presidential elections. Now one of the major religions in the Philippines, Iglesian Ni Cristo is backing up a presidential candidate and a vice-presidential candidate.

The Iglesia Ni Cristo leader, minister Eduardo Manalo yesterday declaired that they are officially endorsing Senators Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III and Mar Roxas for the presidency and vice presidency.

Manalo said that their group’s support to the Liberal Party (LP) candidates came from their members.

We won’t know how this will affect the results but lets just see come May 10.
