In an interview yesterday, Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn belittled a survey reportedly coming from the camp of her rival, gubernatorial candidate Hilario Davide III which showed him leading her by 12 percent.
Garcia said the survey is just another form of black propaganda similar to the 2007 elections.
A representative from Davide’s camp, Joselito Ramon Castillo, earlier announced that a survey was done by a private university covered 3,012 respondents from Cebu province who were asked who they would vote for as governor.
51.67 percent said that they will vote for Davide and Garcia only got 39.5 percent of the votes.
