Cebu Centennial Lions Club holds medical-dental mission
The Cebu Centennial Lions Club conducted another medical mission last May 1 in barangay Duljo-Fatima, Cebu City.
The said event was in cooperation with T.O.R.C.H. (Total OutReach for Community Health), Mandaue Dental Society and the staff and students of Velez College-College of Nursing.
In addition, the event also catered to the needs of the community by conducting Operation Tuli (circumcision) because summer is the most conducive time of the year to undergo circumcision.
At least 100 children were circumcised. Another 100 patients were given free dental checkup and tooth extraction. Free medicines were also distributed to 300 residents.
